✦ Made in Bharat, for all of Bharat

From nothing,
we build what matters.

शून्य से शिखर तकfrom zero to the summit

Most apps are made for a few cities and one language. We make them for everyone else: for the way Bharat prays, remembers and lives, every single day. Sumeru is the first.

उत्पाद · Products

Many products.
One chhatri.

In Hindi, chhatri means umbrella. It is also the domed pavilion of Rajasthan that shelters every traveller who passes. That is what we want Nothing Labs to be: one roof for the apps Bharat actually needs, each with its own name, each made with the same care.

Sumeruसुमेरु

For the daily jap our grandparents never miss.

Every morning, across Bharat, someone counts their jap on a mala and writes Ram naam in a notebook. Sumeru carries that ritual onto the phone: free, in seven Indian languages, without ads or the internet, and saving every count the moment it happens. It is named after the sumeru, the guru bead at the head of a mala that you never cross.

हमारी कहानी · Our story

Bharat deserves apps made for it, not just translated for it.

For years, Nothing Labs built software for other people's ideas. Along the way we kept seeing who was left out: the parent who reads only Odia, the grandmother who counts her jap on a mala, the family whose internet comes and goes. Most technology is made for a few cities and one language, then translated for everyone else.

So we stopped building to a brief and started building for them. Every app we make begins with a real habit of Indian life (a prayer, a ritual, a daily count) and is shaped around the people who live it: in their language, at their pace, on the phone they already own. Sumeru, for daily naam jap and naam lekhan, is the first. More are on their way.

In their own language, on the phone they already have, even on the days the internet doesn't come.
